Please note that as this is a natural, untreated wooden product. Each Castle set is one of a kind, carrying the unique marks made by nature. It is therefore normal for the product to have knots, wood marking and lines in the wood.

Our coloured wooden Gluckskafer products are protected by the well fixed water-based colours which bring out the characteristic of the original wood. In contrast to laquering, the grain of the wood shows through. The surface feels slightly rougher making the blocks less slippery - a plus for the child's tactile development.
We give age recommendations for our toys. This is of course, subject to the individual stage of development and the interests of each child.
All toys are carry the CE mark, which confirms that our products are in compliance with the European Standard for the Safety of Toys (EN71).
We use only selected wood, mainly beech and maple, from European forests certified for their sustainable forestry management. Further, our products are treated only with tested and certified varnishes and paints, primarily water based. These are completely harmless to the environment and the health of children. Thus, these toys can be out in the mouths of even the smallest children, as even the dye which is released when in contact with saliva is completely harmless.
Care and cleaning of these toys requires only a moist cloth and the avoidance of chemical agents.
