When I started my business in 1988, I established some  guidelines for the manufacturing of our wooden toys.

We always make sure to use varieties of wood from our local region, such as pine, beech, alder etc.

We design all of our wooden toys with natural shapes and forms in mind. The majority therefore feature smooth, flowing curves.

We believe that such toys stimulate creative thinking more so  than toys with cornered and edgy shapes.

The surfaces of our toys are treated with natural oils, waxes, and colours. Each toy therefore retains the natural structure of the wood being used, which enables children to fully appreciate it.

To ensure that all of our toys meet the European Standard for toy safety (EN 71), each individual product requires careful planning and faithful workmanship.
